It is apparent that many people hate summer as they worry for their skin. The skin dries quickly during this season. The good news is that there are some ways to maintain the best condition of the skin even during summer such as dabbing. Here are some tips on how to keep your skin perfect during summer.

Use sunscreen – For maximum skin protection from the sun, a sunscreen is necessary. Do not settle for any lotion but make sure that you get a quality sunscreen product. Aside from sun protection, sunscreen can greatly invigorates the skin.

Wash makeup brush – One of the widely used beauty tool is the makeup brush. This is specially the case for women. Men especially celebrities also get into contact with brush frequently. The makeup brush is not as clean as it looks. As the makeup brush is used regularly, dry skin, makeup and dirt will accumulate on the brush. The skin will then exposed to the dirt particles when applying makeup. Washing the makeup brush regularly will minimize this occurrence thus keeping the skin healthy.

Proper sleep – One of the best way to invigorate the skin is by sleeping. It allows the skin to restore to ideal condition. Do not neglect sleeping. Experts suggest that the body sleeps for 8 hours. For effective rest, follow regular sleeping schedule.

Lessen time for hot showers – Heat is harmful to your skin. Even hot shower can damage the skin. So taking hot showers for a long time can damage the skin.

Moisturize your skin after bathing – Some people use moisturizer after drying their skin but it is more effective if used before the skin dries up. Therefore, using it after you just step out of the shower is ideal.

Stay hydrated – Water is an essential resource for your body. It allows the fluids to circulate around the body and keeps the different organs functioning properly. Skin also needs water to be in great condition. When it comes to the water supply, the body usually distribute the water first to the internal organs and then to the skin. When there is minimum water intake, the skin will suffer first. Proper hydration can keep your skin healthy.

Observe a healthy diet – Skin will use vitamins and minerals to stay in great condition. If you have nutrient deficiency, your skin will not be healthy. So you need to observe a healthy diet.
